Vernon Hamilton Graduates

Ver-non
Hamil-ton
Grad-u-ates!

I want that T-shirt.

VH graduated today. Right now, I don't know with 100% certainty if he participated in the ceremony or not. I will let you know if I find out.

Oh where, oh where can my Vernon be?

Clemson Basketball: Survives the Miami Hurricane

  • Firstly, congratulations on a much needed victory last night. Senior VH should be proud of his ten points and his rescue of the victory, his own senior night, and hopefully the resuscitation of the team.
  • Secondly, we are not out of the NCAA tournament of tournaments yet. But we could be shortly if we don't win at VT and at least one in the new, Fla-centric TampACC tournament. A loss in either situation means, hopefully, NIT. Of this, VH said, "I don't want to play another home game. It'd be nice to travel somewhere," referring to the NIT top seeded teams playing at home. Down with the NIT.
  • Thirdly, Sam Perry only played three minutes. It seems his shirt did not get in the way while he was on the bench. Take a look at his line:

Sam Perry... 0-0 0-0 0-0 0 0 0 2 0 0 1 0 0 3

The only non-zeroes correspond to the following: 2, fouls; 1, turnovers; 3, minutes played. Well, Mr. Energy, you should have listened to me. Just think of the mobility and free range of motion you could have without the shirt. Your line might look more respectable.

Keep this in mind, dear Tigers. Now get ready for VT and the TampACC tournament.

Clemson Basketball: Timekeeper guy needs to be fired.

From our seats, this image is right before things got bad.

This youtube video is when it got bad.

Never mind the added time at the end. The clock did not move when Vernon Hamilton took his shot. As I was at the game, I can assure you VH had the ball longer than .6 seconds. I hope to god OP files a formal complaint with the ACC officials/timekeepers/whoever for that. Yes, Duke would have still had an opportunity to shoot their final shot, but not 4.4 seconds.

Yes, I was in the belly of the whale, the death star. And I hated it.

Vernon Hamilton: Master of the Steal?

This is an interesting article posted yesterday on theacc.com . Vernon is the all-time Clemson steal leader and is currently working on stealing you or your significant other's heart.
