Last year, the Tigers finished #22 in the final AP poll with a 24-10 record. This year, the Tigers open the season on the outside looking in. They are in the ORV, others receiving votes, category.
This is not a bad place to be, especially if you subscribe to negative karma, or the don't-believe-the-hype script used by the football team. Oh, and the last time Clemson Basketball opened the season ranked was Rick Barnes' last year.
Still, we are on the radar, but just enough outside that we will be able to make our mark with our game, rather than relying on preseason polls.
