Supposed All-America candidate, at least according to Temple University, Dionte Christmas, was held to zero points in the first half. This dude averages 26 ppg. That is some serious defensive pressure.

Elsewhere in the statistics, Terrence Oglesby has 14 points on 4-7 3pt. The Tigers, more importantly are winning the boards with 11-2 Offensive and 17-9, Total.

The rebounding is allowing us to stay ahead of the Owls, as the Tigers are shot 47.3% and the Owl Temples shot 64%. We are 9-17 3pg and 4-5 FT%.

It looks up and down thus far. But if the Tigers keep up the pressure and start hitting more of their shots, they should be able to push Temple to the end. Temple has took 9 shots fewer than Clemson, but were more efficient. The law of averages says neither of these can be kept up.

So, look to the defense to help the Tigers to this win.

Go Tigers!
