Apparently, teams advance slowly up the ladder of poll recognition. Which is fine by me. Just as the voters are surely cognizant of last year's implosion-- I don't need to recollect it again--so, too, am I. The polls should be used as nothing than a recognition of our ability and accomplishments thus far. We still have work to complete.
So, with final exams underway, the Tigers should remain entrenched in the poll battle through the next week at least. A strong showing in Puerto Rico could help us in the polls, but truthfully, continuing to play as strongly as we have at times this year is better than what our rank might be, for better or worse.
