Clemson Basketball pre-season news

Several bits of news to report upon.

The biggest bit of information is the stellar recruiting class rated #18 by scout.com. Also notable ACC members on the list are UNC at #1, Duke #5, and NCSU #17. If you look closely, however, you can see not only who is ahead of us, but those ranked below us: 20 Georgia Tech, 21 Memphis, 22 UAB, 23 Georgetown, 24 Pitt, and 25 Kansas St. The 2009 recruiting class lead by Milton Jennings and Devin Booker ranks above some notable teams, to be sure. Also announced, Clemson will not appeal Catalin 'Bobo' Baicu's suspension.
And for what its worth, in a preseason version of Bracketology, Clemson is a #10 seed, Oliver Purnell is praised by Don Munson at CUTigers.com, and Demontez Stitt is listed as others receiving votes (ORV) by DeCourcy of The Sporting News.
