Booker, Man-Beast, ACC Player of the week

In what was a foregone conclusion after Trevor Booker dominated last week, the ACC awarded Booker player-of -the-week.
In earning the award for the first time this season, Booker averaged 30.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots as the Tigers finished the week 1-1. In Wednesday's 82-72 loss to UNC Charlotte, Booker had 11 rebounds and four blocked shots and hit on 10-of-14 from the floor and 11-of-15 from the free throw line en route to a career high 32 points. In Saturday's 97-85 double overtime victory over Florida State, the Whitmire, S.C., sophomore made 10-of-12 from the floor and finished with 29 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots. On the week, Booker made 20-of-26 from the floor (.769), including four-of-five from three-point range (.800).
The most amazing stat is the 4-5 3fg%, as he has only attempted 7 3fg.
Congratulations Mr. Booker. I was beginning to think you were only focusing on defense, as you offense was a bit off earlier in the season.

Nice turn-around.

Elsewhere, the Tigers remain in the top 25 in both polls, at 23(Coaches') and 24(AP).
The Wolfpack is coming to town. Preview to come later.

Go Tigers!
